Tarot Card ~ February 18

Page of Spears

The Hare

Fortune Cookie: Love and honor your inner mad artist.  Embrace and empower him or her today.  And begin that wonderful new… WHATEVER!

[Tarot reader once again stares blankly at monitor.  Wonders what he has to do to get  the import and impact of this card across…  better.  Comes up with a few cuss words even the Lord of Evil finds noteworthy.  Wonders if they in fact came in honor of this card?  Wonders if he can still lay hands on that book from the 1970s that says Yeats’ mythological writings actually came through his wife’s channeling.  Decides to just get back to the card.  Sigh.]

As I know I’ve said before, this little guy’s energy is ALWAYS welcome around here, although the last very special time we saw him was all the way back toward only the end of January.

Come on guys.  This is one of those wonderful GET OUT OF JAIL FREE kinda cards.  Use it!
Some readers find this card signals a dark young man (person?), an envoy or postman, and therefore, NEWS!  So keep an eye out for any and all of those, if it feels right.

Others would see him as representing a strange message or a desire to learn new things or expand current knowledge.

Anna-Marie Ferguson, creator of the Legend deck, finds the Page of Spears to betoken stimulating communications [like you wish this was], arrival of good things [like you wish this was], and a trustworthy, enthusiastic assistant, among other possibilities.  [I’ll take a dozen, Gods, please.  And a side each of marketing director, web master, barkeep and massotherapist. To go.]

As a totem animal, Hare betokens joyfulness, enthusiasm, wonderful loopy abandon (Mad as a March Hare) and creativity, creation or procreation.  So this card asks that you release your inner wildandcrazyjoyfulartist, especially today.

Yep!  Somethin’ like that!

Uhhh…  Well.  Maybe…

Let yourself connect or reconnect with those elements of yourself and your life that encourage freedom, playfulness, creativity and JOY!

And as far as the procreation part is concerned, if you’ve been thinking about making a baby − or opening a new business or giving birth to a major new project or direction in life − Do It!  Do It!  Begin today!

Love and honor your inner mad artist.  Embrace and empower him or her today.  And begin that wonderful new… WHATEVER!

Bright, joyful, creative blessings!

Quote for the Day: You rush a miracle worker, you get lousy miracles! ~ Jim Butcher

Today’s Weather: Bloviates (noun, plural).  Bazoííííngs.  Centennial sable sabayons, just so.

On This Date: 1930 – Elm Farm Ollie becomes the first cow to fly in a fixed-wing aircraft and also the first cow to be milked in an aircraft.  [Yes, really.  Mad as a March Hare!]

When I read the phrase “…joyfulness, enthusiasm, wonderful loppy abandon” I “saw” a bright-eyed, head-stretched-tall, loppy-eared rabbit. His ears hung long and fuzzy…and he was full of energy!! That image will certainly stick with me to bring upliftment, joy and a sense of abandon.

My husband (who is a Libra….and tends to be laid back) has said recently that we’re getting too old to rush any more. Makes me laugh and helps me to relax. However, you can bet the next time anyone is attempting to rush me (or I’m doing it to myself), I’ll quote Jim Butcher:
You rush a miracle worker, you get lousy miracles!

Thank you, Neal! ~ ~ Blessings and miraculous stuff, Donna

    [And thanks!]
