Tarot Card for the Day ~ June 24

Page of Spears

The Hare

This little guy is back after less than two weeks, which is fine, because his energy is ALWAYS welcome around here.

Some readers would find this card to signal a dark young man (person?), an envoy or postman, and therefore, news.  So keep an eye out for all of those, if you like.

Others would see him as representing a strange message or a desire to learn new things or expand current knowledge.

Anna-Marie Ferguson, creator of the Legend deck, finds the Page of Spears to betoken stimulating communications, arrival of good things, and a trustworthy, enthusiastic assistant, among other possibilities.

As a totem animal, Hare betokens joyfulness, enthusiasm, wonderful loopy abandon (Mad as a March Hare) and creativity, creation or procreation.  So this card asks that you release your inner wildandcrazyjoyfulartist, especially today.

Let yourself connect or reconnect with those elements of yourself and your life that encourage freedom, playfulness, creativity and JOY!

And as far as the procreation part is concerned, if you’ve been thinking about making a baby − or opening a new business or giving birth to a major new project or direction in life − Do It!  Do It!  Begin today!

Love and honor your inner mad artist.  Embrace and empower him or her today.  And begin that wonderful new… WHATEVER!

Bright, joyful, creative blessings!

Quote for the Day:  “Humans think they are smarter than dolphins because we build cars and buildings and start wars etc…and all that dolphins do is swim in the water, eat fish and play around. Dolphins believe that they are smarter for exactly the same reasons.”  ~ Douglas Adams

Today’s Weather:  Morticia’s chair; elderberry confits

On This Date:  1901 – First exhibition of Pablo Picasso‘s work opens.

Thank you for bringing such “good stuff” to my fingertips, Neal. This morning I woke up “seeing” the rainbow background you’ve used on a couple messages. The blue and green one you chose for today’s messages is lovely…I could see the dolphins you wrote about merrily swimming about in the blue-green waters.

Yes, the article by Bellueruth Naparstek is extraordinarily beautiful. I will be passing it on to a friend whose father’s life spark is fading.
